ToneGenPro ("the App") is a professional audio tone generator developed by Ioan Florucza ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, why it may be collected, and how it is handled.
1. Data We Collect
1.1 Advertising Data
The free version of the App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain data such as:
- Advertising ID (Android Advertising ID)
- Approximate location derived from IP address (not GPS)
- Device information such as model, operating system version, and screen size
- Ad performance and interaction data, such as impressions and clicks
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the App uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent before serving personalised ads, where required by law. You may change your consent choice at any time from the About → Privacy Settings section inside the App.
1.2 In-App Purchases
Purchases such as "Remove Ads" or "Pro" are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your payment card details or other payment information. Google may provide the App with limited purchase information, such as a purchase token or product ID, solely for the purpose of validating and unlocking purchased features.
1.3 Locally Stored Preferences
The App stores certain information locally on your device, such as your settings, presets, and local usage counters. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
1.4 Crash and Diagnostic Data
The App does not use third-party crash reporting or analytics SDKs. Diagnostic information, such as local debug logs or stack traces, may be generated locally on the device for development or troubleshooting purposes, but is not transmitted to us.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
- Personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number
- Precise location data (GPS)
- Contacts, photos, or personal files
- Microphone audio recordings
- Usage analytics or telemetry collected by us directly
All audio generated, played, or exported by the App is processed locally on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each of which is governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob – ad serving
- Google Play Billing – in-app purchases
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) – GDPR / consent management
- Google Play In-App Review – in-app rating prompt
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally by the App can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. We do not store user data on our own servers. For any data processed by Google AdMob or Google Play, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.
